Sarah Child Academy – A staunchly upper-middle-class school with pristine hallways; overseen by Principal Arnette Mosebly in Innocent in Death.[1] A smart and spiffy private school with state-of-the-art educational equipment, sparkling clean classrooms, stylish uniforms, and a one-teacher-per-six-students ratio.[2] They had a nutritionist-certified cafeteria and state-approved vending.[3] Each staff member must pass through security and get signed in before entering the school.[4]
The Sarah Child program was based on “trust and responsibility.”[5] It was considered one of the top schools in the state of New York[6] and children six to thirteen attended.[7] Private schools were not required to have security cameras.[8]
