- Murdered in one of Roarke’s unoccupied properties
- Lured there by someone claiming to be Roarke
- His palms were nailed to the floor
- Bled out slowly, over hours, with his wrists and throat slashed (not deeply)
- Eviscerated: Sliced from breastbone to crotch with right eye and tongue removed
- Eve found an object about the size of a five-dollar credit in his pocket. The object was glossy white with a bright green image painted on it; on the other side was an oblong shape that met at one end with crossed lines. A four-leaf clover was one of the images, the other was a fish, a symbol of the Church.[3]
