Interesting Facts[]

  • Lorcan Cobbe adopted her to kill and leave for Eve and/or Roarke when he learned about Galahad. Summerset was buying salmon for Galahad from a fishmonger, Mr. Tilly, and Cobbe used an amplifier to learn of this.
  • She was originally found with mange and fleas, and was being treated for both. Cobbe adopted her from Caring Hearts Pet Rescue, using the name Mr. Patrick, and claiming to be a widower from Wexford, who was adopting a kitten for his fictitious nine-year-old daughter, Colleen.
  • The adoption fee was $400, but Cobbe gave Tara Undall, one of the owners of the shelter, $500, saying he wanted to make a donation: “He told me how happy this would make his motherless child.” He also purchased a pet carrier, but declined a collar, saying he wanted his girl to pick one out, and he left with the congratulations basket they offered in addition to the cat and carrier.[2]
  • Morris confirmed that she’d been spayed about three weeks before her death and had signs of early malnutrition, but was rebounding because someone took the care.
  • Trueheart found the information on the adoption, including pictures that showed the progression from a scabby and mangy skin-and-bones cat four and a half weeks before death to the gradual and substantial improvements, to the image of a healthy, fluffy-coated cat with clear amber eyes. She was found five weeks before and taken into foster care.
