The Mira Institute - A political think tank founded and run by Edward Mira in Brotherhood in Death. It was headquartered in the Chrysler Building, comprising two floors, with a pied-à-terre in East Washington, D.C. for its executives when they traveled.[1] According to Roarke, it wasn’t yet self-sustaining, and continued to drain Mira’s resources. They rented a suite at the Roarke Palace Hotel, as well as carrying a substantial payroll and very high operating expenses.[2]
