Urbane – The upscale clothing shop where Lorcan Cobbe (as Patrick) spent over four thousand dollars in Shadows in Death. It was located about six or seven blocks from Perry, Jenkinson found the hit, and Reineke got the full list of purchases: two Leonardo T-shirts - one noire (black), one slate (gray), two pairs of black jeans, at least one of which was Granville urban jeans and a black hooded zip-up jacket. He was served by Trent Bilbo, the assistant manager, and another clerk there was Marcus, but he wasn’t due in until eleven a.m.

The Yang charcoal distressed leather bomber with the blackout zips and sapphire lining in silk would have been perfection with the tees and the Granville urban jeans he bought, according to Bilbo, but they didn’t have the jacket in Cobbe’s size - the display one was too small since he had very broad shoulders, and the other one they had in stock was too big. Bilbo did say he thought they could get it in his size and contact him, and it turned out their Chicago store had it in stock.

They carried the Joseph Karim City Bag, a “manly version of a purse” that retailed for $8900, but when Eve heard the price, she had Bilbo mock up a field bag by putting an empty box in a shopping bag and adding a navy-and-red-striped ribbon to the handles instead. He then sent Eve and Peabody to Vanity, a few stores down, for newsboy caps to add a flip of insouciance, unexpected in a police officer.[1]

Roarke owned the building, but not the store.[2]
