Vid Galaxy – Located in Times Square, it was where Chanel Rylan was killed during a showing of Psycho in Dark in Death. That vid was playing in theater three, one of the smaller theaters with a capacity of 275, mostly used for classic vids. A kid-friendly vid, A Dog and His Day, was between shows in theater one, so the 105 remaining living Psycho audience members were put in there to be interviewed. Vid Galaxy had ten screens, two floors, with the two mega screens upstairs.[1]
They had a Golden Ticket rewards program, which Chanel Rylan and Lola Kawaski belonged to. When you bought a package of twenty-five tickets per year, you got one free, an automatic ten percent discount at concessions, a monthly newsletter, and an assortment of other benefits.[2]
YANNO: The book opened with “On the mega screen, bloody murder played out in classic black and white...” but Peabody specifically told Eve the two mega screens were upstairs, and that the classic vids played in one of the smaller theaters.
