West Side School for the Arts – Located in New York, it ranged over the fourth floor of an old building on the West Side. Under the glare of streetlights, the pocked bricks were dull and grayed with time and pollution, but the glass in every window sparkled.[1] Sasha Korchov owned the building in Possession in Death, and his sister and nephew, Natalya and Alexi Barinova, worked and lived there. The basement ran the length and width of the building, with a number of rooms listed as storage/utility/maintenance on the floor plans.[2] He imprisoned Beata Varga and imprisoned and killed eight other dancers in the basement prior to Beata.[3]
