  • His parents had been married for 33 years, lived in Brooklyn Heights, and he was a Brooklyn native.
  • His mother was originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico, came here as an au pair on a work visa, married his father, who was a city maintenance worker. She owned and operated a day care and preschool, Your Kids, and her daughter/Wylee’s sister worked there.
  • His father owned and operated a home repair and maintenance company, and Wylee’s other sister works there.
  • He was rookie of the year in 2055, and had won various MVP deals and Golden Gloves.
  • Started the Stamford Family Foundation four years ago. Their main mission was to expose underprivileged youths to sports, which included a sports camp, scholarships, donated equipment, mentoring, and transportation.
  • Every year he arranged for groups of kids to not only attend a home game, but to meet the other players.
  • His childhood best friend, Brian O’Keefe, was his personal manager.
  • Attended NYU on a scholarship, playing for the Violets. Kept up his grades - 3.3 GPA. Kept up that low-to-mid-three average in high school except for a big dip in seventh and into eight grades, when he was around twelve; there was an urgent-care visit with records sealed from around that time.
  • He was at his parents’ house for dinner the night Mars was killed. He was waylaid by a neighbor, Mr. Aaron, who was a talker, on the way there but arrived at his parents’ house around 6:20, had a beer with his father and then dinner with the family.
  • When he was twelve, he was repeatedly sexually assaulted by a childhood hero, Rod C. Keith. He tried to kill himself when he was thirteen, after the abuse had stopped. Somebody killed his abuser eventually, but Mars was blackmailing him, insinuating that she could make people think Wylee had killed him.
