Your Space – An organizing company founded five years before Calculated in Death by Angie Carabelli, Clare, Holly Novak, and Latisha Vance.[1]

The offices spread over a two-level downtown lot. Eve figured a family of four could live there comfortably, particularly as the design reflected a home rather than a work space. Seating ranged around a sparkling fireplace topped with a mantel holding candlesticks and flowers. A second seating area aimed toward the wide window. In this second space, a woman (Angie) demonstrated something on a tablet to a young couple who appeared to be engrossed. Rather than security, assistants, or hard-eyed admins, one of the four founders of the firm (Tisha) greeted Eve and Peabody personally.

The origin story: Angie and Tisha started the company, focusing on private homes - rooms, really. Going in, designing a system, helping the client purge, redesigning the space if necessary, but then Tisha and Holly, who worked for an interior designer, started talking at the gym, and Holly joined the firm. Angie brought Clare, who had been an office manager, in with them - Clare opened them up to helping organize, reorganize, redesign office spaces - the loft (Your Space) was Clare’s idea - offices don’t have to look like offices to be productive and efficient, and they'd be able to show clients what can be done, how much productivity and comfort they can pack into their space without clutter.

The other named employee was Kassy, their office manager.

Brewer, Kyle, and Martini did their accounting, with Jim Arnold as their rep, then Marta when Jim was injured: they’d originally hoped for Marta, but at the time they came on board with Brewer, she didn’t have room for them. The audit was due to a merger - Your Space was looking to acquire a company that designed and made organizing equipment and tools, but had a mostly online presence. Their financial advisor was Jake Ingersol of the WIN Group.

Marta was also in the process of hiring Your Space to redesign her husband’s home office and their bedroom.
